A Community Institution Since 1931

The Simcoe Lions Club has been a pillar of community service in Norfolk County since our founding in 1931. With a membership of nearly 100 dedicated individuals, the club operates under the motto “We Serve” — focusing efforts on youth sports, senior services, and healthcare.

Over the decades, we’ve donated more than $1,000,000 to local initiatives — including substantial funding for Norfolk General Hospital, a $150,000 pledge toward Emergency Wing renovations, and the construction of the Simcoe Lions Ballpark in 1993, which remains a central hub for regional baseball and softball tournaments.

The club is currently leading a significant effort to revitalize Wellington Park, committing $100,000 and sweat equity to install a new central gazebo — ensuring Simcoe’s downtown greenspace remains a vibrant gathering place for generations to come.
