About This Project

The Simcoe Lions are leaders in the community, supporting projects and services since our founding in 1931. All proceeds raised through our great programs are kept within the community and directed to local services. Everything we do in Simcoe, stays in Simcoe.

We are currently investigating the feasibility of revitalizing Wellington Park. Details of our findings, the effort required, and how the community can participate and support this project will be available here as they develop. Check back often for updates.

Our Vision for Wellington Park

A Park for Everyone

Bringing Wellington Park Back to Life

Wellington Park has been a cherished landmark in Simcoe for generations. Our goal is to restore and revitalize the space so that it once again serves as a vibrant hub for families, youth, and seniors in our community.

The Simcoe Lions Club has a long history of building lasting community infrastructure — including the Lions Ballpark, built in 1993, which continues to serve the community every summer decades later. Wellington Park is our next chapter.
